I'm new here, so first off, hello.

Guess I should start with the symptoms

Itchy (at first and still is at times)
Burning sensation - esp after going to the toilet
Still feeling like I need to go to the toilet even after just going
red like friction marks on the shaft of my penis the top just under head (they're not bumps or raised in anyway)

I've had most of these symptoms before of the years with various girlfriends. It's nearly always occurs after intercourse. Usually it last about a week and then goes. it's lasted a little longer this time round, well I say longer, it seems to go and then I have sex and it comes back, so I've had it 2-3 times over the last couple of months.

Of course I'm naturally worried this isn't thrush as suspected in the past and I'm struggling to eat and sleep as a result.

I would go to the doctor, but I'm based out of Dubai and I'm not sure how they will react to my appointment, so that's worrying me also.

Any advice as to what this could be is greatly appreciated.

Worried22, you should really see a doctor.

What you discribe might be Penile Thrush but you
could have cought something else.
A doctor have the knowledge to give you a correct diagnosis.
You should not be worried AND I assure you,
he/she have seen this before. No need to postpone.

Yep, Louise is right.

I think it's time to head to the doctor and find out what's really going
on down there.

If your doctor isn't able to diagnose your condition from a simple examination be sure to ask for a urine test. This will help to pin point the real cause of those annoying symptoms.
